Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

Hey Everyone!!

Just wanted to put up a quick post to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving!!

I will be traveling to Nebraska this weekend and will most likely not be online again until Monday, so if you reach out to me, please be patient...I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Also, for those of you who can sense the delay in my comment responses and my email replies...that is because I am SUPER busy with a new project at work and it is taking up a TON of my time. Again, if you can be a bit patient with me, I promise I'll get back to you as time permits...just a little slower than normal these days.

But...busy days make for job security right? :o)

What are you all doing for Thanksgiving? I sincerely hope they are all weekends filled with blessings!

Much Love,
Mercedes

Hello Miss M

Wishing you a wonderful time in Nebraska. Great for you to have an exciting project and "yes" to job security.

I am not going home for Thanksgiving. Last year I went for a Chinese buffet and it was good so might do that again. Have gotten used to not doing much for this holiday ever since grad school when I needed the time to catch up on writing papers and studying.

I do feel some frustration. Something going on with my nephew in CA (he's in a bit of hot water) and I have an eye swollen and watering so feelin' icky and ugly. Bleh.

Wearing my glasses and trying to convince myself that I have the "hot librarian" look going. Ha!

All sorts of other nonsense too but I'm just focusing on working out and dancing as much as I can. It's what I love!

Even so, I feel grateful to be (mostly) healthy, employed, living comfortably, (reasonably) attractive, educated and passionate.

I acknowledge myself for being self-reflective enough to try to uncover the DocK within that is "better" as in more loving, compassionate and kind, and that includes self-loving.

Happy happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

Miss DocK - Do I have to reach through the computer and shake you up a bit?
When I wear my glasses K calls me liberry girl, and he thinks liberry girl is super sexy.
You look amazing no matter what you look like, for YOU are most definitely "loving, compassionate and kind," and don't forget "that includes self-loving." teary blechy glassesy eyes and all.
Happy Thanksgiving beautiful lady.
You too Miss M, even though I already wished you that...Twice is nice. Three times even better. HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY!!!

Ha! OK - I am duly shaken via computer. : )

Hoping to get out of here (work) early and go straight to workout.

Making plans to go take "jiggle it and wiggle it" class in city next week.

Like the song says, "I'm a bad, bad girl."

Thanks Miss T. Enjoy the motor city.

XO DocK

Happy Thanksgiving to you all over there!

Mercedes - Enjoy your trip.
I'm doing OK - better than last week, being dated he wants to go back to how things were (says he's waiting to hear where we're going next after this weekend)and although my tail is wagging, I'm standing firm.

Dock - I love glasses - I bet you look great! Men love them, my boss has such a serious glasses fetish that I'm scared to wear mine sometimes!

DocK: Thank you so much! I did have a wonderful time...and I'm glad Tinque was able to take care of your comment in a way that I might have if I hadn't been away:

"Miss DocK - Do I have to reach through the computer and shake you up a bit?"

LOL...You girls are amazing! :o) And you both make me smile!

Lola:
"although my tail is wagging, I'm standing firm."

I love that! We've all been there...hoping and praying we'll finally see what we're looking for in this man we love...but the part about standing firm...well...

YOU ROCK! Please...do stand firm...because what you're doing is being a very strong woman who is true to her own needs and desires...and *that* my friend is a VERY attractive quality!

Much Love to all of you!
Mercedes
